Here's a few of the surnames in my genealogy files and the proper way to pronounce them:
Custer - The "u" has the "oo" sound like in "rooster".
Sible, Seibel, Sibel - Long "i", silent "e", just like "bible".
Pugh - Pronounced the same as "pew".
Reiman - Pronounced the same as "Rayman".
